Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the beating heart of Madrid, my recent stay at this quaint establishment on Clavel 8 street offered a quiet refuge after a packed day exploring the city. The historical building, meticulously revamped on all three floors, exudes a blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. The snug rooms, though compact, boast clean lines and a soothing ambiance, perfect for a good night's rest. The central location proved invaluable, with most attractions a leisurely stroll away. While the 24-hour front desk and ticket services were convenient, I encountered a slight hiccup during check-out when the reception seemed a tad frazzled. Despite this, the overall experience was satisfactory. Exploring nearby cultural gems like Puerta del Sol and enjoying the well-appointed room made my days in Madrid down to the last detail. A modest choice for those seeking a cozy retreat in the bustling heart of the vibrant Spanish capital.
